Very interesting is it possible to obtain a hard copy of the information posted.I should mention that the church in Morton Corbet has the Corbet family dedication .The reason for this is on tracing my family tree I discovered I am distantly related to the Corbet,s At one time I understand that there i was a lake on ynysmaengwyn .The story goes that a son belonging to one of the maids drowned in it .

It would have been easy enough to create an artificial lake, given that the river Dysynni runs along the edge of the estate. I must dig out some old maps, and there may have been a mention in one of the local newspapers, most of which are online.
